  • Classrooms are built & equipped according to grade level requirements.
  • The space, desks, chairs, boards are all organized to fulfill the school goal of a perfect education.
  • Teachers always prepare their classes before school starts. Classes are usually prepared in a classified way such as subject divided boards and special seating.

Library


Mission:

The mission of the MNS library is to provide students and staff with equitable and timely access to information and to develop the skills needed for lifelong learning.

Use of the Library:

MNS students of all stages visit the library weekly or biweekly to read for personal leisure or to do research work under the supervision of professional librarians. Students are always encouraged rather than compelled to read. They also have the opportunity to visit the library during breaks or any other free time they have. The library provides a scheme of work based on an Information Literacy curriculum which helps students and teachers to become proficient at accessing, evaluating and using information.

Library Working Hours:.

  • During school year: From 7:30am. Till 2:45pm.each day.
  • During the summer vacation: From July to September.

Resources and Facilities:

  • There are two fully equipped libraries at MNS – one for the elementary Stage and the other for middle and high stages.
  • The Library resources cover various subject areas for both the National as well as British Divisions. The resources include approximately 15 000 books; English, Arabic, French and German); videos audio tapes and CDs; periodicals and current magazines.
  • The library is computerized and uses the “ALIS” system for circulation and management purposes.
  • There are 15 networked computers with internet access.
  • CD-ROM drives include educational and fun filled programs for elementary stage as well as information filled reference titles for the middle and high school.
  • The library is well equipped with audio visual aids.

Library Code of Conduct:

In order for all library users to make use of all facilities and resources and to enjoy spending time in the library, it is imperative that each and every individual uses all materials responsibly by:

  • returning them on time for others to be able to borrow them
  • putting them back where they belong
  • keeping them in good condition
  • taking turns
  • sharing library space
  • Keeping absolutely silent so that all others can read, find information, or study.

Labs


Our Chemistry, Physics and Biology laboratories are fully-equipped to meet the needs of different syllabi. The Chemistry laboratory is stocked with all chemicals needed for experiments and hands-on activities. To ensure maximum safety of both students and teachers the laboratory is provided with a fume cupboard used in case of experiments that release irritating gases. The physics and biology laboratories are supplied with various instruments, microscopes, stocks of slide sand equipment needed where every student has the opportunity to conduct experiments in accordance with the national syllabi.
